I wrote a guide to building an SMS bot in about 30 minutes without coding! You write the messages your bot will send in a Google sheet, which is also where people's responses are saved.

My hope is that sms-bot.info will be particularly useful for mutual aid groups, organizers, small businesses or anyone who wants to collect info via SMS from their community but doesn't have the technical resources to code a bot from scratch.
The nice thing about building the SMS bot yourself (rather than if you used a tool that I "published" for example) is that your data doesn't pass through any third party servers, so only people you give access to can see the info.
