- Macron: Strong political measures needed to fight against corruption and lead to reforms for Lebanon.
He says his visit is not only related to the explosion, but has a political background.

- Health Minister: The speedy intervention of the Russian team and the setting up of the field hospital is good and it's ready to receive the sick and wounded.

- The Russians brought in a lab to help in COVID-19 testing, after the ministry of health faced issues due to the huge burden on the health sector.

MOH Hassan: A number of Arab and European embassies and health ministries have contacted us and extended a helping hand to Lebanon; since yesterday, aircraft carrying aid have started arriving, and coordination is taking place between the Health Ministry and the Lebanese army.

- Macron is currently meeting with the heads of all parliamentary blocs in the pine palace.
The pine palace is the official residence of the French ambassador, and the place were the creation of the state of Lebanon was annoyed.

- According to Iran's Foreign Ministry’s spokesman @SAMOUSAVI9 , Iran will provide Lebanon with construction materials needed for reconstruction of damaged properties and infrastructures.

- NNA: An Italian military plane carrying medical aid to Lebanon has landed at Beirut airport.

- A small anti Hezbullah protest is taking place now chanting: "Hezbullah... Hezbullah is terrorist".

- Minister of Health is currently supervising the Iranian mobile hospital. Head of the Iranian team was discussing on TV the aid, including 25 doctors (speaking in Arabic)
- Currently only the Russian and Iranain field hospitals are up and working.

Geagea: The mere fact that the French President left all of the problems in his country and came to Lebanon is a very big step.

- The Syrian intelligence has information about unusual activities by a certain state over and inside the port in the last two weeks.

- USA: McKenzie informed Gen. Aoun of the impending delivery of three C-17s shipments of U.S. relief supplies including food, water, and medical supplies Gen. McKenzie expressed U.S. willingness to continue to work with the Lebanese Armed Forces to help provide aid and assistance

- The central bank just froze all assets of 7 culprits in the incident, including Hasan Quraytem, Shafik Merhi, Badri Daher, and other officials.

- Six bodies are being retrieved from the elevator of the silos.
- Sixteen port staff have been arrested until now. There is no news however on their identities and if the port officials are included.

New reports: "Current security reports are indicating that the ammonium nitrate stored in that hanger has been being sold for years on the Lebanese and Syrian markets, with reports indicating it was used in the explosions that Dahyeh Beirut witnessed between 2014 and 2015".

- This Syrian child is called Rayan al Saadi. His father Mohammad al Saadi died during the explosion while his mother Mona al Nahhas is in intensive care unit in Dar al-Shifa hospital.
