Tri Shakti Poornimas
Our life revolves around three forms of Shakti. These shaktis are ones who rule over our body mind and soul.
Iccha Shakti–The energy of will or desire
Jnana Shakti–The energy of knowledge
Kriya Shakti–The energy of action
There are 3 poornimas in the Hindu calendar which represents these 3 shaktis
Icha Poornima - Kojagiri Poornima - sharad Poornima - Aswin Maas
Kriya Poornima - Karthik Poornima - Tripura Poornima - Karthik Maas
Gnyana Poornima - Maagh Poornima - Maagh Maas
Three goddess are
1. Icha Shakti - Maha Lakshmi
2. Kriya Shakti - Lalitha Tripura Sundari / Kamakshi
3. Gnyana Shakti - Maha Sarawati
Shree Lalithambika has maa lakshmi and maa saraswati as her two eyes. Kamakshi- Ka ( Saraswati ) Ma ( Lakshmi ). Paradevta kamakshi / Lalitha Tripurasundari/ Rajarajeshwari is the kriya shakti. She is the one who blesses with the energy to action.
Those who wish for having the blessings of Shakti completely can pray all three goddess by reading Lalitha sahasranama during the 2nd or 3rd quarter of the Poornima night. An abhisheka, archana to Shree chakra is done with Cow's milk, Pearl's, silver / Gold flowers and kumkum.
Khadgamalarchana is very strong mantrarchana is widely done on this night. One who wishes to gain the trishakti blessings they can do pray these poornima what ever way they can. A special prasad on all 3 poornimas is Paayasanam - Ann Kheer made with cow's milk,Jaggery Cow's Ghee
There are three temples in Tamil Nadu, Chennai which are forms of three shaktis
Ichchaa Sakthi - Thiruvudai Amman
Gnaana Sakthi - Vadivudai Amman
Kriyaa Sakthi - Kodiyidai Amman
People do darshan on every Poornima starting from 1st to 3rd in same day for sampoorna anugraha
Another representation of Icha Gnyana and kriya shakti are three temples in Kancheepuram
1. Icha Shakti - Ekambareshwar
2. Gnyana Shakti - Kumarakottam Muruga
3. Kriya Shakti - Kamakshi Amman
The 3 temples are arranged in such a way that Kumara temple is in between Ekambareshwar and kamakshi amman temple. This arrangement of kumara in btwn the shiva shakti is called SOMASKANDA. Darshan of these 3 temples in a day together on a Poornima benefits us with immense power
