Yes. The big, massive moves are created by big, massive players, with big, massive pockets. And trust me, they dont give a fuck about what's happening on the 1min chart. Theyre trading w/ far too much size to care about pussy timeframes. So use what THEY use, to see what THEY see

Now that doesnt mean they dont look at it from time to time. of course they do. remember the 1min chart is used to trap impulsive traders (quick fake breakouts to trap longs, quick fake pulls to trap shorts etc). So they check it periodically, but not for the reasons u think.

I always start with a big picture timeframe (daily, weekly, hourly) to spot the big picture setup/trap that the manipulators are springing. then i narrow down to smaller timeframes (5 or 15min) for entries ONLY.
Big dick moves require big dick timeframes.
