Im a bid slammer so L2/tape reading for me is paramount, mainly at the time of entry/exit (else i wont get filled without crazy slippage). Also my #1 entry signal on lowfloats requires the presence of HUGE bids, so I have to be glued to the tape at the time of entry.
Also remember, level 2 ALWAYS precedes the chart. Orders are stacked on the L2 before they hit the tape, THEN the candle forms. So a good tape reader can spot reversal or continuation signals seconds before the chart shows you. Ask any tape reader, they know what im talkin about.
Oh and there goes your #BearTipOfTheDay
