1. Before online streaming gained so much popularity, DTH providers gave you an option to record a program and then save it to watch later. Problem solved! But did you know, the same thing can also be done in the stock market?
2. If you are a trader or investor, who, for some reason, is unable to trade or place orders during normal trading hours, there is a facility that can help you place your orders before the market opens or after the market has closed.
3. This is known as the After Market Order (AMO). As the name suggests, it is a type of order that can be placed even if the market is closed. The order will enter the system whenever the market opens.
4. The AMO orders would get rejected during market hours. Thus, one cannot put an AMO for the next day if the market is open at the moment of order entering.
