It is the beauty of love that man and woman are each other's complementary other. Their qualities come together to form a blissful balance and the foundation for family.
Yet we should now dismiss this as something of the antiquity, to instead compete and struggle for power.
In an almost yin and yang way, men and women are in almost every aspect each other's complementary other. Both compensating for each other's weaknesses and enhancing each other's strengths.
Whether by the intention of a Creator or as a consequence of the natural order, it is clear to see man and woman give rise to each other, elevating both to a level neither are capable of on their own. Whilst setting the foundation, upon which family is founded.
His leadership and strength, combined with her nurturing nature elevates them both to new heights.
Man is in effect the protector and guardian of his realm, his wife and children. He is obliged by duty to ensure the well-being of his family, aided by his loving wife.
Yet the "modern" outlook dictates to us that this is bygone era and not only that, it is both undesirable and wrong.
Instead they propose, that man and woman are entirely the same and have no characteristics that are complementary of each other.
They wish to convince us that instead, man's love, protection, leadership and guidance is in fact dictatorial and oppressive.
That a woman must unshackle herself from the tyranny of her man, instead to be left to her faith in a society that can never provide her the same.
Power must then be equalized, and a "partnership" in their view is a division of power down the impossible middle. Often resulting in the woman now in fact having to compensate for the man's weakness, the ship of family to be steered without the counterbalance of the sexes.
Ignoring the natural differences and intentionally disregarding each sex's stronger capacities and natural propensities. Insisting that man and woman have no psychological differences whatsoever.
All in sacrifice to the newly declared holy: Equality.
The price to be paid by both and the suffering of the consequences to be endured by all.
Woman trades in man's protection, leadership & guidance for power she does not know how to wield.
Man trades in woman's femininity & nurturing nature in the name of his holiness, Equality.
And finally, the greatest price of all is paid by the children of our generations. Who grow up in destabilized and torn homes, with the highest divorce rates ever and without the proper guidance, love and care of a father and a mother.
Has the egalitarian dream been realized now? Should we now be proud of the state we are in? Smirking at our grandparents, claiming they knew nothing of equality, love and family, whilst our own families sink and drown?
It is truly mindboggling how something as beautiful as the complementary nature of the sexes, the beauty of love and the unity of family has devolved into a sanctimonious battle of the sexes.
We no longer complete each other, instead we have chosen to destroy each other.
