How a customer thinks:
- Will this product make my pain better or worse?
- Will this product give me peace of mind?
- Does this product meet my practical requirements?
- Will this product fit my budget?
Answer all these in your opener.
Example with the first random good ad I found:
- Lessens the pain of having to reload so often
- Peace of mind with a 3 position safety hammer & Browning craftsmanship
- Multiple uses & easy maintenance
- Clearly priced
This ad is from 1971- marketing is basic stuff.
This is a great example of how an advert can answer these questions without even using text.
- Lessons the pain of non-portable music
- Peace of mind comes from the recognizable brand
- Can be used while dancing
- Figures in ad are attractive suggesting high price point
Firearm adverts just do this so damn well.
