-why did Blackbeard attack drum island because we know blackbeared doesnt make any reckless moves there must have been benfiet from his attack the reasons i could think of (stealing wapool devil fruit, making wapool merge his body with others, there was info about ancient weapon
i think that he was trying to force wapool to merge his body with others to be able to consume multiple devil fruits which is why wapool fleed he might have known blackbeard plan or they might've known eachother (snowy island being origin of blackbeard)
even though he fled i think Blackbeard was still able to meet him by fate when he was sent flying by luffy
after Blackbeard merged his body using wapool i believe he convinced him to work as a spy for him given he is a king he will have access to mariejoea and reverie -

which we saw are great sources of real non censored information we saw this in chapter 956 when wapool contacted moragns , i beleive he also got in touch with teach back then with the same "leaked info" that why teach decided to claim whatever wapool told him
as many speculate teach is either after a devil fruit or ancient weapon if wapool told him something it will definitely be regarding the revere princesses either vivi(tied to pluton) or shirahoshi(posideion) given they were also imu sama targets before reverie
