Vlad asked me to be his personal trainer.
Then he told me that he “just wanted a program”.
He didn’t have much money, would train 3x/wk, and had just finished physio after rotator cuff surgery.
I got clearance and got creative.
The result? $15,582.70 in sales . . .

Additionally, Vlad wanted variety to keep the exercise interesting.
He’d been working out for years, had good form, but never had gotten professional guidance.
Instead of one single workout, I devised a custom workout system for Vlad.
(Next slide, I’ll share the system.)

Vlad’s system consisted of 8 categories:
1. Pull
2. Push
3. Mid-back/shoulder stability
4. Core stability/anti-rotation
5. Core rotation/flexion
6. Legs (hip dominant)
7. Legs (quad dominant)
8. Arms
Included were 4-5 exercises in each group.
(Next up, how it went down.)

Instead of taking Vlad through a workout, our sessions consisted of:
1. Teaching him the exercises, and;
2. Helping him identify appropriate weight.
He was then instructed to choose 2 mid-back/shoulder stability exercises and 1 exercise from the other categories per workout.

When we were done, Vlad had the freedom to choose from a large assortment of workouts.
The exercises were specific to his needs and he knew how to progress.
As a result, he got much more value from this plan – yet he was still able to afford it.

A trainer’s job is to remove stress from a client’s life, not add to it.
The best plan is always the plan that works for the client.

Because I was able to find a plan that worked for Vlad, he referred me to his daughter, who could afford it.
All told, she purchased 150 sessions which, added to the sessions Vlad bought for himself, his wife, and his son, resulted in $15,582.70 in sales.
