Why XIRR - determine the performance of an investment over a time period lets say 2, 5 & 10 yr.

As our investments are random, monthly, qly or yearly - XIRR is the right tool to measure the returns.

I will be sharing with you xl-sheet, which helps us to get net XIRR.
Data include ~
Buy
Sell - profit/ loss
Dividends - net taxes
Multiple Accounts Transctions
TDS & Advance Taxes to be paid..
& xl sheet also captures adv taxes to be paid to Govt on dividends..
This is how it looks:

To calculate net dividends - please add the right percentage.
Picture1: its 34.32% as the income of this person is above 50L
Picture2: its 0%, may be spouse or son's account whose income is less than 2.5L

Taxes: I suppose any dividends above 5,000 - TDS is deducted. This sheet does capture that info⬇️
If in case you wish to know individual stock's XIRR - create a seperate sheet in the same xl-file⬇️
To know XIRR on any day - just put your portfolio value here⬇️: xl-sheet throws latest XIRR:
