A lot of India's problems boil down to fact that nehru ( and co) was OG woke, like way way ahead of when wokeness was remotely popular anywhere in world and incorporating ideas not seen anywhere else

Given history of partition, the single biggest question that one must have thought at that point, ( even if you wanted to be secular state) was : how do you prevent such mobilization and build safeguards to protect the nation, its demographics e.t.c. but OG woke decided giving

Special minority rights, allowing them their own institutions with autonomy etc is the solution. Like when such ideas were not seen in a single place in the whole world. You cannot make this stuff up!
