All Hindus ask for is respect. Please don’t go out of your way to destroy, desecrate, steal, commodify, or demonize us for our tradition. Treat our tradition with the same respect that we treat others.
But when we assert our right to be treated equally - when we simply ask for compassion - we are accused of being dangerous, of blasphemy, of asking to be beheaded.
