If you find any of this valuable, a RT would help a ton.
Now let’s find your product.
The method I’m about to show you is exactly how I’ve been able to find winning products.
The Method?
Trend Stacking
So what is trend stacking?
It’s when you stack multiple trends to create a massive trend and a massive demand for your product.
I noticed this when I found my first winning product.
I followed the same strategy multiple times finding success in over 20+ products.
So we first want to find a trend and see if that trend is worth pursuing.
Let’s get started 👇🏼
1)Scroll social media
Next time you’re on TikTok or IG, pay attention to the products or videos that people are talking about.
You’ll begin to notice a pattern of certain things showing up over and over again. That’s when you may have identified a possible trend.
At the time I found getting rid of plastic straws was trending.
Multiple videos surfaced of plastic straws getting stuck in the noses of turtles and endangering their habitats.
I noticed this and capitalized on it.
Use hashtags like tiktokmademebuyit, amazonfinds, goodfinds, beautymusthaves, birthdaygifts, etc.
2)Google Trends
From there you want to go over to google trends to see if that trend is blowing up.
You want to take the keywords from the trend you found and search it on google trends and look at the 12-month time frame.
Here you can see if there is an uptrend, downtrend, or a constant trend in that product
3) Exploding topics
This is another banger website to see if things are trends.
I’ve been using this website for a while and it’s helped me find plenty of winning products.
You can search by ‘1 month’ and ‘products’
PRO TIP:
Twitter is often early on trends.
If you spend a lot of time on Twitter and see a topic getting a lot of buzz, you most likely found a trend.
You can easily find trending hashtags or topics that are getting a lot of attention. They have a section just for that.
Now that you found your trend, you need to find a product within that trend.
Ex. Mine was a portable, reusable straw.
This is where your creativity comes in.
That’s the exact strategy that I used to find a trend for my first winning product.
I’ve used this strategy multiple times, creating various successful brands.
Do what you want with this information. Understand that this is a strategy that works and I’ve used it multiple times.
To recap trend stacking:
- Scroll social media
- Google Trends
- Exploding topics
- Twitter
- Find your product once you’ve validated the trend
