Maharathis and Mahahojas were two Ruling families in ancient Maharashtra
There may have been titles of this name at some point of time, but by the time of Ashoka and Kharavela, they had changed into dynasties or ruling groups

But in few centuries these Rathikas and Bhojakas started addressing as Maharathis (महारठी) & Mahabhojas (महाभोज)

Some Satavahana coins have been found in the Andhra region, Ma-ha-ra-thi has been engraved on the gene in Brahmi
These coins probably indicate the Maharathi dynasty or Gana of this region

These examples are sufficient to prove that, in the Satavahana period, 'Maharathi' was not a title but a group of rulers,
which was famous only by the name of Rathik in Ashoka and Mahameghvahan period
