Continuing with the geopolitics rocking investment theme, India is seeking to oust Chinese firm from its phone market. This is a big deal as it will impact companies like Xiaomi & realme.

In 2015, Indian phones at 86% market share, Chinese 32%.
Today, Chinese phones make up 65% of the market.
This will rock Chinese phone makers, especially those more dependent on Indian markets.

What is the share of Chinese phones in India? Well, 75% in 2021, up from 71% in 2019.
Xiaomi is the largest smartphone seller in 2020, with 26% market share. Next ones are Vivo, Realme, Oppo.
Samsung Electronics has 21% market share & can benefit if this policy goes into effect
