I always get asked; what are the best settings to launch Google Ads campaigns?
So today, I'm going to reveal how I launch them for majority of my eCommerce brands.
A thread ๐Ÿงต
Keep in mind that these settings can fluctuate heavily based on your niche and selling price.
Use these as a general guiding reference.
This will be divided into two separate segments:
- Newer Google Ad accounts
- Established Google Ad accounts
Lets start off with the first:
Standard Shopping Campaigns:
I generally launch two to begin with on maximize clicks
One runs at a $0.45 - $0.60 bid and the other at a $0.11 bid
Both targeting only one country.
Campaign priority: Low
Including Google Search Partners
All products within both
Search Campaigns:
I normally wait until I have a winning product with winning keywords before launching cold search.
Once I do, I launch them on manual CPC with a bid that's + $0.05 - $0.10 from the shopping campaign's bid.
One country only with search networks.
Brand Search Campaigns:
These special type of search campaigns target your own brand's keyword.
Super important to have as they prevent competitors from stealing market share.
For these, I run them on eCPC @ a $1.50 bid.
Targeting all countries I serve.
Simple setup.
Performance Max Campaigns:
This is where the second segment of eCom brands begin.
I target one major country per Pmax.
With a budget of $30+/day.
On Maximize Conversion value with no TROAS set.
And with no asset groups added.
The second option for "Final URL Expansion"
Dynamic Retargeting Campaigns:
We add a wide range of audiences to these all based around retargeting.
You can get this list on this thread.
We add multiple different assets to this campaign.
Targeting only one country.
Running on maximize clicks. (< $0.27)
$20/d budgets.
While there are many more campaigns you can run, these are the major ones.
Again, use these as general starting points for yours.
If you're doing $30,000 or more per month and want help scaling further with Google ads, let's work together: yorumarketing.com
Summary:
These campaign settings are divided based on two separate segments.
You can still work within each and launch the campaigns as needed.
It's more crucial that you made adjustments based on results.
