In the chapter "Rājavarṇana" of the Eklinga Mahatmya, Maharana Kumbha has been described to be well-versed in the Vedas, Smritis, Mimansa, as well as Upanishads and Vyākaraṇa (Sanskrit Grammar)

Amongst his many works on music, he wrote three treatises:- Saṃgītarāja, Saṃgītamīmāṃsā, & Sudprabandh. He wrote commentaries on Chandishataka & Geet Govind.
He's also said to have authored 4 dramas, which used the Maharashtri , Karnati & Mewari languages ‼️

🚩Maharana Kumbha is given the title of "HINDU SURATRAN" in a stone inscription in a Jain temple at Ranapura.
This title seems equivalent to the title "Hindupati Padshah" used for Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj in 18th century.
