Interesting all the applause she's getting from people on the Right for saying identity politics is in danger, when the same Right repeatedly says identity politics to be *the* danger.
Perhaps, for some on the Right, identity politics isn't the problem, so much as WHICH identity.

I'm also not sold on her thesis that erasing identity groups makes people better consumers for "financial speculators".
Some could instead argue that consumerism is about refining identities and getting people to, um, identify with them more, to increase predictability.

And of course, there are the similarities between the language of "financial speculators" as the hidden enemy, and the use of "International Finance Capital" for the same purpose in the first half of the 20th Century. We all (should) know for whom that was a codeword.
