You'd need to withdraw the $AVAX through the AVAX-C network or AVAX Chain to your MetaM@sk / Trust Wallet.
Don't forget to Switch to the Avalanche Mainnet.
Trust Wallet has this network auto-embedded in its browser.
But in case you don't have the network added to your MetaM@sk yet, go to chainlist.org, connect your wallet and add the Avalanche C-Chain network.
Easy Peasy.

After funding your wallet with $AVAX, head over to app.avvy.domains
Once it loads, search for the domain name you'd love to buy.
In this case, I'll be buying nuketocoach.avax which is currently available.
It costs only $5/0.33 $AVAX/year (varies due to character length)

- Continue Registration.
- Generate Proofs.
- Done
Then in this last step, you'll be told to select the type of domain privacy you want to go with.

- Choose whichever one you prefer and then approve the transaction in the pop-up box.
- Registration Successful
You can then view your domain(s) by clicking "View my domains".
