Friend of mine got his DNA tested, his results were kinda cool so thought to share. His father is a Brahmin from Jammu and his mother is Northern European. His Y-haplogroup is R1a-Z93 and mtDNA is T2.
They pretty much recreated a Sarmatian/Scythian
Target: pratik2_scaled

European Farmer: 30.6%
Indus Valley: 27.4%

Sitting inbetween the North Indian and Northern European clusters, next to medieval Sarmatians, Scythians, Xiongnu and other Steppe Nomads.
Closest to Pamiri Tajiks and some heavily Euro mixed Romani. Still, poor distances from all moderns. No modern DNA quite fits his profile. Genetically closer to ancient Scythians/Sarmatians than to any modern sample in the entire dataset.
If we do unsupervised modelling with moderns, this is what he gets.
