I remember when this was being discussed and I insisted the that the clip showed the man was more likely helping the woman than molesting her.
The Hindu journalist had just shared an 8 sec clip and gave the verdict. Later police refuted, longer clips showed how he was actually helping, not molesting. The Hindu then retracted story and apologised.
Then also they were hailed for bravery for apologising. Not being called out for being so so so wrong about an accusation as serious as molestation. Things havenβt changed in 5 yrs. opindia.com
