No it is very clearly and obviously not beside the point. You can't just pretend the guy who owns Twitter banning people on Twitter for a viral trend poking fun at the guy who owns Twitter is the same as any other act of impersonation. That's not a thing.
Yes if he is the owner of Twitter and he says he wants it to be a free speech platform obviously when it comes to him he needs to allow any and all forms of tomfoolery. That's how he's stacked the power dynamic here so that's how he needs to play it.
