✅Force Motors Ltd was established in 1958, is the flagship company of the Abhay Firodia group.
✅The company is in the business of manufacturing fully vertically integrated small and light CVs, multi-utility vehicles, & agricultural tractors, which it supplies to various countries in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, & Africa.
✅It was known as Bajaj Tempo till 2005

✅It has entered into a joint venture with MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH (a company of the Rolls Royce Group) in FY 18 to form Force MTU Power Systems Private Limited (FMTU) for engaging in the business of development, manufacture, and marketing of engines, engines
for power generation,complete power generators & engines for various applications like Rail
✅It holds a 51% stake in FMTU, thus becoming a subsidiary of the Company
✅In 2015,BMW assigned Force Motors to produce and test the engines for all cars and SUVs to be made in India

✅It manufactures Engines, Transmission & Axles, a range of Small, Multi-Utility, and Light Commercial Vehicles, Special Utility Vehicles (SUVs), and Agricultural Tractors.
✅The primary brands in LCVs and multiutility vehicles include Traveller, Trax, Gurkha, and Shaktiman, while the brands in tractors are Balwan, Orchard, Abhiman, and Sanman.
Its ‘Traveller’ and ‘Trax’ vehicle ranges are market leaders in their respective segments

✅Force Motors Urbania was recently launched at a dealer meet in Indore.
✅The Company has announced pricing of Urbania starting at Rs 28.99 Lakh.
✅An entirely new state-of-art manufacturing unit has been setup for production of
Urbania.
✅Total cost of design and development of Urbania new-gen platform and construction of its manufacturing facility is more than Rs 1000 Crore.
✅In the first phase, the plant has capacity to manufacture 1000 units per month.
✅This can be increased to 2000 vehicles
Per month.
✅Serial production of Urbania has already been commenced.
✅The new-gen van will be reaching dealerships in coming weeks
