I get that there is a level of informality between Muslims, but it really irks me when Muslim organizations and figures ignore internet rules and ethics. Here's a short list:
1) You cannot add someone to your mailing list without their consent!
Someone sent me a question and bcc'd another Muslim answering service. Somehow, I have been added to their mailing service ever since!

2) If someone is paying you to share a link or a product, you have to mention that you are an affiliate or put "#ad". I am quite sure it's the law.
3) Do not share someone's phone number without their consent. Oh and don't call people on facebook messenger that you don't know...
4) Don't steal people's content and publish it under your name or on your blog... This should be a given...
