Responsibilities
I realise more and more that many people were not raised. They were responsibilities that were acquired by unwilling people and they were kept alive. But they were not raised or taught anything.
And these people are the most difficult to commune with because they are highly defensive about their shortcomings because theyβve been in survival mode forever.
This is often true of people who were dumped on their grandparents, especially when they were last in line. By that time their grandparents were fed up, but kept them alive out of duty. But love and duty are not the same things. They were seen as burdens and treated as such.
Now, as adults they are fighting everyone who wants to hold them accountable for the effects of their poor social skills and the harm they cause. Itβs difficult.
And these are people who insist that they know the things they donβt know, with no demonstrable ability. Belligerent.
