Making it a point to document my progress every now and again to hopefully gain some comradery from those that are a step behind me or a few steps ahead.
This is the progress I’ve made thus far in my freelancing business.
Hope this helps some1
(links for everything at bottom)
1. Joined a community of like-minded people
πŸ’°: -$100
If I remember correctly, I joined CS in June and hit the ground running from there.
It gave me the network, support system, and tools I needed to cut the learning curve in half.
Highly recommend.
2. Bought a few courses
πŸ’°: -$1450
I bought two courses:
Copy MBA
Chase Diamond's Email Marketing Course
These gave me a significantly more in-depth education on how to make converting email systems.
3. Got first client through Instagram DMs
πŸ’°: +$500
I ended up sending out DMs on Insta to get my first case study. Was doing about 40-60 DMs/day.
Finally, one said yes to a performance-based deal. I got good results and a great case study as a result.
4. Started on Upwork
πŸ’°+$2k-3k/month
Took that case study and immediately made my UpWork profile. I started off slow doing 2-3k/month for a few months.
After getting more reviews on UpWork I increased my rate to where as of recently, a 9-12k month is regular.
Which brings us to right now, where I'm still unsatisfied and know I've got WAY more in the tank.
And with that, I want you guys to do me a favor.
Empty the fuckin tank this year. Grow so much you don't recognize your old self. Change for the BETTER.
No one is gonna save you
