Xaxa, member of the Kurukh tribe, born and brought up in Jashpur district, Chattisgarh, India, died tragically of a heart attack on March 2020. A stalwart of Adivasi land reform, Xaxa pushed for radical imaginaries that would combat de-humanization of his Adivasi and Bahujan kin.
