Why is blue the colour of Dalit resistance??
Blue is the colour of the sky - a representation of non-discrimination, i.e. under the sky everyone is EQUAL. The blue Mahar's flag was also Babasaheb's Labour Party flag which appealed to the blue-collar workers.

Blue was Babasaheb's favourite colour. Blue was also the colour of the flag of the party floated by Babasaheb - the Scheduled Castes Federation of India in 1942 which later became the Republican Party of India in 1956. BSP also adopted the same blue.
Blue = Dalit Emancipation💙
Bleeding blue... blue became a colour of Dalit Consciousness and Resistance over the years. Check out the logos of Dalit Panters and Bhim Army @BhimArmyChief
