How far Wanjohn? Na wetin e talk for phone be that when he call.. I say Padi I dey ooo, he come say Alaye, check your WhatsApp chats and reply asap. I checked chats and replied, after about a week, arrangements were made and I picked up the car from Abule-Egba, that was the..
..same time I picked up that Lexus I delivered last week, I came with a driver so he went back to @InsideOsogbo immediately with this car and arrived safely, we had agreed to do a general overhauling and I assured him it was going to be perfect and fine. We started work when I..
..got back. Thank God for genuine spare parts mixed with skills, experience and good teamwork, the engine came up well after few days, less than a week. Everything was perfect with it. I gave him updates with videos and pictures.
He sent me videos of things heโ€™ll like me to fix and among them was part of the dashboard that was cracked, we got the affected part detached and started work on it, simultaneously, we started the body works, I suggested we use a new bumper for the car because the old one was..
..weak and the space for the bumper clips were gone, I got another bumper and this aided a lot of things during the panelbeating process. I decided to use a 2010 Bumper to make the outcome more attractive so I had to change the Front Grille and Fog Lamps and the bumper hangers.
This was the most challenging part of this particular job!! The AC unit. They had been fixing it over the years without any positive results in Lagos, I told him AC is a 50/50 thing now oo but I was going to give it my best shot, we changed all the components and AC didnโ€™t work.
We traced the fault to an electrical malfunction from the dashboard so we had to dismantle the dashboard, this alone took us one full week to fix, at the end of the day, it was worth the while and stress and it was a job well done.
My client called my attention to water leaking from a part behind the car, carefully traced the fault to a weakened rear windshield, we had to remove, redress, panel-beat, replace rubbers and refit. I had to make it a lasting solution to the water leakage in the car.
Panel Beating works were done and after I was satisfied, complete Oven Baking Preparations started, genuine materials were ensured to be used, I carefully observed the processes, I really took my time. We had already finished fixing the cracked dashboard here.
We had a very interesting time in the Oven. I was very happy. The heat in this place isnโ€™t easy so most times when you think I ignore messages or donโ€™t pick calls, itโ€™s usually not my fault, I love to do and monitor my jobs with keen attention and utmost priority, d Ovenbaking..
..was a success. The car came out of the Oven like this, we had been using the AC for 2 weeks non stop to see if it would develop any fault, there were no issues with it at all. I also helped in making a Number plate reprint from the appropriate authorities. I love 2make every..
..thing concerning cars look very perfect and ok. We coupled the remaining detached parts of the car, checked all electrical and mechanical components to ensure they were all intact. Filled up the tank of the car and reset the oil life so it could start reading normally against..
..when next it will be due for servicing. Everything was set for Delivery here. Car was ready to be delivered. I had polished it and made my normal moves on cars that I refurbish.
Car was safely delivered back to Abule-Egba in Lagos today, and with a fully packed Hamper from @dunmadefoods9ja
