Clarity just struck me like a lightning bolt.⚡
I was having dinner with a friend who told me she was frozen in fear:
- Fear of the future
- Fear of indecision
- Fear of being stuck
We decided to play a game to re-awaken her confidence.
It's a game you can play too:
To get anything you want in life, you've got to be in an open, receptive state of being.
This isn't woo-woo stuff, it's just a good ol' fashion feeling of ALIVENESS.
You only want the things you want because of the way they make you feel.
So logically, if you can find the feeling FIRST, you're going to have a much easier time being open to the right ideas, people and opportunities needed to make it happen.
Now, the moment you've been waiting for...The GAME.
The key to this game is to speak about a future event that you're wanting to accomplish as though it's already happened.

The reason for this is that you want to trick your mind into the feeling that it's not becoming real, but that it's ALREADY real.
You can do this with a partner or you can do this in your journal.
With a partner:
Get with a friend and ask them what they want to accomplish in the next year.
Then pretend like it's one year later and you haven't seen each other in that whole year.
Ask your friend:
"So how's the last year been?" "What's been going on in your life?"
Get them to tell you about ALL of the things they wanted to accomplish when you spoke to them a year prior, except they are speaking to you as they've already done them all.
Once they get in a rhythm it'll FEEL like they've already accomplished what they're talking about.
When I did this with my friend last night, she went from a fearful, insecure state to an open and joyful state within a few minutes.
You should've seen her light up!
She said, "Wow, that's amazing how fast my mood can shift when I switch my focus."
You can do the same thing while journaling, just journal as though it's a year from now and you're recounting all of the things you've accomplished in the last year.
This is bound to get you excited and open you into an optimal state.
Again, it's no secret that when you feel good, you make better decisions, have more energy, meet more people and create at a higher level.
That's why exercises like these are SOOO important.
I use strategies like these with all of my clients to get them CLEAR about what they want in their life.
That's the first step to living the life you dream of...CLARITY.
