In my capacity as the Governor of Katsina State, I have directed the immediate distribution of 40,000 bags of rice procured by the State Government. The β¦2 billion Palliatives Funds released by the Federal Government of Nigeria were used in purchasing the rice.
Furthermore, I have also approved the formation of distribution committees at the Local Government and Ward levels. Likewise, I have set up a strong monitoring committee to supervise the distribution processes.
Itβs worth noting that anybody found wanting by misusing public trust during the distribution exercise, directly or indirectly, will face the full wrath of the law.
