If I had to learn JavaScript again, here's how I would do it:
1. Crashcourse
Build a basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals with any JavaScript crash course
I would:
- Code along
- Take notes
- Rewind when confused
2. Tutorial Projects
Build projects alongside 2-3 tutorial videos on YouTube, Udemy, etc.
I would:
- Code along
- Pause the video and build ahead ( if I was confident )
- Add my own twists ( if I was EXTRA confident )
3. Solo Projects
Time to build projects on your own to test your knowledge and push it to the next level
I would:
- Build on my own
- Practise research skills when stuck ( Google, StackOverflow, ChatGPT )
- Ask for help in a community if I get REALLY stuck
If you complete all three steps, you should be confident using JavaScript!
