Sharing the secret sauce with you that all other gem hunters and OG's use. If you want to join the club. Grab some popcorn, lean back, and have a read.
Thread! 🧵
First things first. What is even @dexscreener?
Dexscreener is a powerful tool for tracking real-time data such as price movements etc. It offers a number of features that many are probably unaware of and therefore do not use Dexscreener to its full potential.
1/12 Let's break down what we see on @dexscreener when we visit it.
On the left side, you have some simple functions & different chains to choose from.
In the top, you have some filters & in the center, we have a ton of different tickers.
2/12 Many of the functions on the left side are self-explanatory.
Personally, I use the multichart and Portfolio a lot. Multichart to get a fast overview of the coins I hold and the Portfolio tab to simply track if I'm profitable overall at the end of the day.
3/12 The chains section is also something completely up to you. If you are an BSC degen, then choose BSC, if you are looking for only ARB plays, then choose Arbitrum. No need to go into details here.
4/12 So far so good but the real party starts under the 'New Pairs' tab. By default, you see all new pairs that were launched & now are trending (second picture)
Don't fall for all trending coins, you can pay people that can make them trending. We need to filter further.
5/12 Click on the filter tab in the right top corner. The marked section in the second picture is the most important part.
It's up to you what kind of settings you use. For example, if you use a pair age max of 6 hours - a rug is likely, if a minimum 24h - rug is less likely.
6/12 To expand more on the settings let me explain them to you:
Liquidity - this is the amount the pair has in liquidity, many devs lock some initial liquidity & then liquidity providers usually top-up.
FDV - Fully diluted valuation this is basically the mcap of the project.
7/12
Pair age - This is the age of the project, was it launch 1h ago, 6h or 24h ago?
24h buy and sells - Very important setting if you don't want to fall into honeypots.
8/12 Once you have set your filters. You will left with a lot of projects 80%+ will probably be meme coins.
Now the real work starts. Is there a trending or upcoming narrative? Look for these coins.
If you are more the utility guy, search the list for utility projects.
9/12 Once you find a project you think is the next 100x, click on it and research further. Here are some tips.
- Visit their website
- Check out the team and the community
- Read their papers (if they have one)
- Check their socials
- Check the chart
10/12 Speaking of charts, @dexscreener is not just great for finding projects it's also great for charting them.
You have almost all the features you would have on Tradingview and it's free.
11/12 I'm not going to explain the Watchlist and Alerts function since these are self-explanatory imo.
12/12 That's basically all the rocket science behind finding a newly launched potential 100x.
Having a network with like-minded people also helps a lot, in that way, you can shill coins with each other and use @dexscreener to check it out.
