β€œWho Moved My Cheese?”
A great short book that will help you to deal with change in your work and life. With his unique insights and storytelling, it can be read and understood quickly by everyone who wants to do well in these changing times.
7 lessons from the book 🧡
1) Sometimes some fear can be good. When you are afraid things are going to get worse if you don’t do something, it can prompt you into action.
But it is not good when you are so afraid that it keeps you from doing anything.
2) What you are afraid of is never as bad as what you imagine. The fear you let build up in your mind is worse than the situation that actually exists.
When you stop being afraid you feel good!
3) When you change what you believe, you change what you do.
You can believe that a change will harm you and resist it. Or you can believe that finding New Cheese will help you and embrace the change.
It all depends on what you choose to believe.
4) It is natural for the change to continually occur. Change could surprise you only if you didn’t expect it and weren’t looking for it.
You could notice when the little changes began so that you would be better prepared for the big changes that might be coming.
5) It is better to let go of the old behavior that is the cause of our bad relationships instead of letting go of the relationship.
Repeating the same behavior will get you the same results. Move on to a better way of thinking and acting.
6) Sometimes things change and they are never the same again. That’s life!
Life moves on. And so should we.
7) Change Happens
