time to revisit the topic of ANGLISH.
anglish is an umbrella term for a style of english that tries to remove as much foreign influence as possible. prefixes, suffixes, nouns, all of it. it sounds unintuitive, but you pick it up very easily. here's some of my favorite examples:

here's a table i took from anglish dot org (yes, that many people have been invested in this - but the real payoff is reading passages in it. i'll post a few examples below.
it's very cool that once you start reading longer pieces of it, it becomes slightly intuitive.

here's how the opening of the declaration of independece would read in anglish:
"We the Folk of the Foroned Riches, to make a more flawless oneship, build rightness, bring frith and stillness to our land, shield one another, uphold the overall welfare, and hold fast the Blessings of Freedom to ourselves and our offspring, do foresay and lay down this lawbook for the foroned riches of Americksland."

you can probably guess what this is:
"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this greatland, a new folkship, dreamt in freedom, and sworn to the forthput that all men are made evenworthy. Now we are betrothed in a great folk-war, testing whether that folkship, or any folkship so born and so sworn, can long withstand. We are met on a great hild-field of that war."

its often difficult to navigate collections of anglish writings online because they organize themselves... in anglish. for example here, "godlore" is religion:

if you search "anglish fandom" you'll find the above site. probably worth including, this is their description of religion in general (for example, "manygodliness" rather than "polytheism":
Godlore is the lore dealing with God and the beliefs of lief or worship. There are many worships in the world. The three Abrahamish faiths teach onegodliness, or the thought that only one God has being. These worships are Christendom, Jewishdom, and Muhammadom. Other worships, such as Hindudom, teach manigodliness. This kind of worships can have one, two, three, or an endless score of gods.
Godlore deals with the otherworldly orld. This is a realm of things which are unseen, have no body, and are outside the laws of worldken. Otherworldly things, like God, errandghosts, and the soul of man, are thought about in godlore.

heres one line from genesis:
"And the Lord said to Noah go into the ark, you and all your offspring, for you alone, from among all the folk on earth, I have found to be upright in this time."
i like how its mostly normal, but some words sing out.

i found a solid collection of prayers (i believe they call these beads) and bible (holybook) passages before but i can't find it now. all the ones i just looked up were written very casually, which is odd. we will revisit this later or if some enthusiast finds something, lmk.

inspired by this i began referring to my mother in law (cursed term) as "wifebringer". this was downgraded, for public consumption, from the more beautiful but startling original term "wifebirther".
