I'm 36.
15 years ago, I was a broke college dropout trying to make ends meet.
Then I saw a poster for a Special Operations Unit and decided to take a chance.
Here are 12 powerful lessons I learned from 12 years on a Special Operations team that changed my life:
1. A good plan executed violently now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.
Take action NOW. You must never stop moving toward the target.
2. A problem will remain a problem until YOU do something about it.
If you see something or recognize something, always understand it is on YOU to fix.
3. Nothing worth doing is easy.
There is no easy button in life. Looking for one is a waste of time. Start working. Build your dream life, build the business, build your body.
Everything requires one thing: Hard Work
4. Professional development begins with personal development.
Before you can master your craft you must master yourself.
5. Every Challenge in life begins and ends in your mind.
If you truly believe in yourself, there is nothing in this world you can't accomplish.
Losers find excuses, Winners find a way.
6. Create the standard you want for your life. Then uphold it daily.
Define your values, then live by them. It isn't discipline, it's your standard.
You don't wake up early to work out every day because of discipline, you do it because it is your standard.
7. Failing is the gateway to growth.
If you are not failing often, then your goals are not big enough.
Failure and overcoming it are the biggest propellers of growth there is.
8. Clarity comes from being present.
When you live in the moment, you know exactly what your next move needs to be.
9. Your network is your most valuable asset.
The power of a strong network is limitless. Increase your surface area for luck by building strong relationships.

@jackmoses0 10. You are your tribe.
Who you surround yourself with is who you are.
Surround yourself with warriors from all walks of life. Learn from each other. Challenge each other. Grow together.
@jackmoses0 11. Master the basics.
Mastering the basics is what creates maximum efficiency in your life. Build and master your routines for everything.
This frees mental bandwidth for everything else
@jackmoses0 12. The little things matter.
