Doing scientific studies on LGBT related issues is quite controversial. So much that many times when the results shed negative light on the LGBT, results are often fudged and distorted by "social justice agendas" and do not follow scientific standards

A long term study of transsexuals who underwent sexual reassignment surgery (SRS) found that they were at a higher rate of committing suicide & crimes, than prior to receiving SRS. Both post op and pre op were still higher compared to heterosexual people
