Who created God?
This is a rhetorical statement needing no answers. Underlying assumptions are false and inherently contradictory. Who created the uncreated is a meaningless rhetoric.
Thread 1/
2/Embedded assumptions are:
1 God exists
2 God didn’t exist at one point
3 God was created
4 Something else existed before God who has the power to create God
5 Time exists before God
All these assumptions must be proven by the questioner before a response to this rhetoric.
3/Entertaining the rhetoric anyways, answer=
1. No one created God (our view)
2. Someone else (=A) created God
2 raises further questions. Who created A? B did. Who created B? C etc. So, we have now:
3. god<A<B<C<D..♾ never ending
Or
4. god<A<B<C<D...1st uncaused cause (=God)
4/Or
5. god<A<B<C<D..🔄A<B<C<D interdependent cyclical causes.
3 &5 cannot lead to creating god. Leaving 4 only rationally acceptable.
Our view is God is the first uncaused cause of everything without any intermediary gods before our creation.
So only rational answer is no one created God. God is eternally existing.
