2/ By engaging @trailofbits for a comprehensive security audit, we are benchmarking our security against the highest standards. They do work for Apple, Facebook & DARPA, and we have selected them to make sure the Elrond security is as robust as possible.
3/ We are raising the Elrond economics standard by doing an audit with Harvard PhDs from @prysmeconomics, who are performing a deep dive into the game theory and mechanism design of our blockchain, to determine immediate effects & long term sustainability of our model.
4/ Both audits require lots of effort and preparation from our team, attempting to simulate and stress-test curious and unpredictable scenarios. The audits part should be done in ~2 weeks, when we'll be prepared for the next level of heavy testing via Battle of nodes.
5/ Our most advanced Battle of Nodes incentivized testnet will begin in the second half of February. The current bug fixes and new features are being deployed to BoNwards, our un-incentivized public testnet, which you can observe here explorer.elrond.com
6/ The next version of BoN will start a new trial by fire period for the Elrond Network, which will directly lead to the Genesis launch, once 15 days have passed without any network interruptions.

The next step in preparation for the Genesis block will require $ERD holders to choose:
- become validators that will run nodes on the Elrond mainnet
- become delegators that will put their $ERD to work via a node operator
