[?7⃣] MOTS7 is the agreement between members. It is a symbol of what they have and have to overcome together & making music together. Their united mindset and reflection of past is in this album
[?7⃣] ON- practiced for 3 weeks in US, 3 weeks before that in Korea, worked for months before that. They reminisced a lot on their past which became the motivation for the MOTS7 album. They cried and laughed a lot, felt a lot of emotions while working on MOTS7.
[?7⃣]Shadow- NJ said Yoongi hyung did a great job. He said it's a song that's beautiful because of the sadness it conveys. Yoongi worked so hard & spent so much time on this song to the point he put his mixtape work aside. Described it as very Yoongi-like
[?7⃣] Yoongi reached out to Namjoon for help with English lyrics and that's why he was included in the credits for Shadow.
[?7⃣]NJ tried to persuade Yoongi and got confirmations from Yoongi & them working together will remain as a memory. NJ thinks Yoongi is a big person for giving him credit for just helping him with the beginning English lyrics for Shadow despite this being his solo track
[?7⃣]Black Swan-a kind of established metaphor. RM rewatched the movie as motif when he was told to write lyrics. He said he cries more easily now bc he's getting old now & talked about the part where Natalie Portman pulled out her nails. He said he cried watching the film

[?7⃣]Filter- RM didn't participate at all in this song but watched JM work on the song a lot. It's a song that matches JM really well bc he has many filters. The song was already complete before he got to work on it & he believes it turned out even better bc he didn't work on it

[?7⃣]How MOTS7 solo tracks came about- RM worked on Persona so no additional solo for him. Each member held many interviews with the house team (of producers/songwriters) to set themes/concepts and songs closest to current emotions.
[?7⃣]My Time- RM was very surprised when he first listened to the guide + said it was difficult bc JK sang a lot of verses right after a drum beat. He said it's not an easy track and only a song that JK can pull off.
[?7⃣] Namjoon said his favorite lyrics for My Time = "놓쳐버린 흔적이" = "the traces of what I missed". He said it might be even better bc they're lyrics that he didn't write

[?7⃣]Louder than Bombs- it means that I'm breaking louder than bombs exploding. It's sad. He liked the phrase "crumbling barrier" but it was turned down for the lyrics
[?7⃣]LOB-He thought about the letters BTS used to get about the fans' lives, about smiling even though you might've not necessarily been happy irl, how he can embrace and lend his ear to all the pain that's being shared with him from others
[?7⃣]LOB- Hobi had a hard time continuing Namjoon's low notes (their parts were right before each other's) since JH's tone is higher but he still did a great job nonetheless and the song was released in the end
[?7⃣]ON- RM was the only one optimistic about this song and the other members were startled when they first heard it together
[?7⃣]ON- JK suggested N.O->ON during MOTS7 meeting and RM added more meaning to it "bring it on, keep on". JM jokingly says often "bring it to me" about drinks nearby etc so the song conveys "bring it i'll crush it all" kind of vibes
[?7⃣]ON- "I didn't think we'd do anything harder after IDOL" He said that he didn't expect a dance break and they practiced so much bc they wanted to do a good job & they feel even sadder bc they couldn't perform in front of ARMYs. They're completely exhausted after perf ON
[?7⃣]ON- NJ said he really wanted to say "you have to be crazy not to go insane" bc there are so many hair-raising incidents in the world and you have to be crazy about something to survive in this world and in order to not go insane. BTS applied this by practicing like crazy
[?7⃣]ON- What began with JK's random idea resulted in this & RM had fun working on this song. Rapped verse 1 bc he wrote his rap the fastest. NJ really likes the bridge & wanted it to have a spiritual feel. The notes are so high, but JK did an amazing job- guide sung by woman
[?7⃣]UGH! (remember this song is pronounced "wook" in Korean)- RM was having a hard time writing the chorus but Yoongi resolved it. They have to consider the perf aspect and them having fun while rapping together onstage so they had to consider this while writing
[?7⃣]UGH!- rappers had similar thoughts for what they wanted to talk about. People who speak so logically & ethically about someone else like on social media. It's dangerous to say that you definitively know something/someone. There's so much anger & get criticized everywhere

[?7⃣]00:00- Namjoon wrote these lyrics the fastest. He felt so grateful to JM and his heartwarming comments that helped him write the lyrics which were completed through the members' voices. He loves how he gets comforted through the members who sing the lyrics with their voices
[?7⃣]Inner Child- RM has a lot of memories with TH walking around their old neighborhood wearing raggedy clothes. The two of them walking around when they had nothing, very precious memories to him and Taehyung. He thought of boy TH and boy RM

[?7⃣]Moon- RM "This is my favorite genre. I love the guitar so much." Jin has a strong appearance, but I could feel the inner pain & struggles he went through hearing this song. RM really liked the guide when he heard it and was surprised when he found out Jin wrote the chorus

[?7⃣]RM- I had no energy throughout promos tbh. We announced a comeback but there is no audience. Like a spell, we kept saying we have to be okay. Same thing for the concert too. It's really hard. I have no energy. We prepared a lot. We really prepared for a really long time.
[?7⃣]RM- It's unfair, really unfair. We wanted to show this, but we can't. We can't always talk about only good things. But like we said- we have to be crazy if we don't want to go insane. It's all there in the album.
