these kinds of infection have a certain developmental process
it will start as inoculation followed by cellulitis then abscess
(most of us think abscess is dangerous, well cellulitis much serious)
so we should know exactly in which stage we are by taking a full detail Hx

a full history is a crucial thing, before initiating any kind of treatment, when why how what is important in your examination
I will be more serious when patient is DM, or Immunocompromised, or drug abuser (many patients died from odontogenic infection as a consequence for DM)

من أول الأمور اللي نفحصها حسب دكتور توماس هو شدة الinfection
من غير المنطقي أعامل مريض عنده buccal space infection
مثل مريض عنده lateral pharyngeal space infe
احنا غالبا نتعامل مع المجموعة السهل التعامل معها
المجموعة الثانية غالبا مجموعة الSUB
الثالثة أخطرها وغالبا في الطوارئ
من غير المنطقي أعامل مريض عنده buccal space infection
مثل مريض عنده lateral pharyngeal space infe
احنا غالبا نتعامل مع المجموعة السهل التعامل معها
المجموعة الثانية غالبا مجموعة الSUB
الثالثة أخطرها وغالبا في الطوارئ
أنا كطبيب أسنان إمكانية عيادتي ما تسمح أعمل كل الفحوصات، فمتى اقرر احول المريض لجراحة الوجه والفكين، احفظ هذا الجدول او اطبعه في العيادة، ممكن تحتاجه يوم من الايام

وعادة نلقاها مع خراجات upper molars
وغالبا هي تكون محصورة بين الmucosa و الalveolar bone

كيف نفرق بينهم؟ سهل الmylohyoid muscle هي الفاصل اللي فوقها بيكون sublingual واللي تحتها submandibular
