Miracles of Muhammad ﷺ in the Qur’an besides the Qur’an
Critics often claim prophet performed no miracles as per Qur’an citing verses like 6:37, 13:7, 29:50 etc. and claim that hadith mentioning his miracles contradict the Qur’an. However, they ignore the fact that:(Thread)
miracles are not usually given as per people’s demand and Qur’ān no where states that miracles will not be provided or that the prophet did not perform any. Instead, it assures it will come to them in right time and it did. 10:20, 61:6
Qur’an clearly states how miracles were excused as magic when done by the previous prophets.
Moses:10:76, 27:13
Jesus : 5:110
Likewise,
a) Muhammad’s ﷺ mircales which they WITNESSED were excused as magic. 37:14-15, 54:1-2
b) he was also called a magician 10:2 and
c) the quranic recitations were called magic too. 34:43, 46:7, 74:24-25
They saw the miracles which he performed. Moon splitting is mentioned in 54:1-2
Miracles were usually not given as people reject them. However, having sent the last messenger from God, the Qur’an remains the perpetual miracle for all, whether one accepts it or rejects it.
