Iβm offering $1000 in BTC for a good open source app to export from Twitter. It should:
- take in a Twitter API key
- download all followers
- rank by some criteria
- send each a DM with specified message (eg link to Substack) up to daily DM limits
More details below.

Ideally you release three versions: open source script, local app, and hosted web app.
This bounty will go on for a week. Will be awarded to best project. I reserve the right to not award if nothing meets the criteria by then. But will endeavor to be nice if something is close.

Context is that a lot of people want to get off Twitter into something like Substack or Ghost.
I could code this, but I donβt want to maintain a hosted version or build a local app.
However, this is a great student or side project as many would use this.

This is also a miniature experiment in decentralized work. I think the specification above is clear, but let me know if any questions.
To submit an entry, put it on GitHub or equivalent and reply with the link. I think folks like @cyantist @MacaesBruno & others might use it too.

Note that your code should work on accounts with many followers.
To get you started, some links that *may* help.
1) Python snippet for listing followers using API

2) twint says it lets you get followers without official API calls

Bounty up to $3650 now thanks to:
$1000 commit from anon
$1000 commit from @ameensol
$500 commit from @seanlinehan
$150 commit from @deconstructized
They have each tweeted or DMβd their matching commits. Pretty cool to see that arise.
