is the issue of removing Sudan from the list of states sponsoring terrorism and other restrictions imposed by the United States on Sudanese citizens, such as the denial of Sudanese participation in the green card lottery, the Darfur Peace Act, and others.
The talks discussed a number of regional issues, foremost among which is the future of Arab-Israeli peace, which leads to stability in the region and preserves the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state in accordance with the vision of the two-state solution,
and the role that Sudan is expected to play in achieving this peace.
The results of these discussions will be presented to the transitional govt bodies in order to discuss them and reach a common vision about it that fulfills the interests and aspirations of the Sudanese people.
