- parasitology is branch of microbiology that is concerned with the study of parasites.
- parasites have 3 main groups that include protozoa, helminths, and arthropods.
-Ectoparasites those that live on the host skin, etc.
-Endoparasites those that live inside the of the host.

Classification :
2 main categories include single-celled parasites "protozoa"
like malaria parasites, ciliates,flagellates, amoeba
multicellular metazoa "helminths & arthropods"
Helminths like cestode,trematode,nematodes.
Arthropods like lice, fleas, ticks.

Protozoa (according to site of infection )
