@ClementDelangue I don’t think tiered product offerings are bad if the business value difference is clear and quantifiable. Depends on your paying customers — if they’re technical, your model might work; if not, might be an opportunity to come up with different tiers
@ClementDelangue I don’t know anything about the NLP API space, but I’d probably start w/ identifying the needs of the target market and a freemium model based on that. If one of the core needs is privacy for example the paid tier could be a dedicated instance with a model of their choosing
@ClementDelangue I think the AWS spot vs dedicated instance model is pretty interesting, it trains the customer to be so reliant on their infra that they have no choice but to upgrade from spot to dedicated when they’re “big enough”
