Ronald Koeman has been advised by academy coaches (likely Pimi) to bet on Oscar Mingueza during this current injury plague in defence. Especially because of his versatility: he has performed well for B at CB, RB and LB. His greatest virtue is bringing the ball out from the back.

But his defending off the ball is not good enough for the highest level, at least not yet, I think. I hope, but Araujo, Comas and Mingo Ramos are better basic defenders. Mingueza is by far the better of the four on the ball, though.
