Leeds have been heavily exposed due to their man to man approach from set-pieces thus far this season because it’s easy to congest the box and block defenders in order to free an attacker. A situation where you can obstruct an opponent’s run without being penalised.
Shaw’s delivery was excellent; seems to have improved in the last few weeks. Impressive vs City also. An important improvement because that’s one area, albeit not many, where you’d naturally consider Telles as superior. #MUFC
Also found it interesting that United opted for Bruno to attack the free space. Maybe due to his ability in the air when unchallenged (accuracy of heading etc) rather than Maguire who would naturally be more dominant in an aerial duel. #MUFC
