**A THREAD FOR MUSLIMS EVERYWHERE**
Nowadays many personalities take to the airwaves to slander & mock Ahmadiyya Islam.
As such, misinformation spreads & the reality of this movement becomes hidden amidst lies.
Below is a defence of Ahmadiyya Islam, & why it is needed today:
1. While the Quran is the complete book for mankind, it itself warns that a time would come when it would be treated as 'a discarded thing' (25:31).
The Prophet (sa) also warned that a time would come when Islam would be present in name only, and the scholars would be corrupt.
2. Is there a solution to this? Well-yes. The Quran speaks of the possibility of messengers coming from AMONG the Muslims:
"O children of Adam! If Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing My Signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds..." (7:36)
3. So we've established that to revive Islam (but not to change it), messengers from AMONG Muslims can come.
Who will this be, however? Many ahadith give us a clue:
“How will you be when the Son of Mary descends amongst you and is your Imam from amongst you?" (Sahih Muslim)
4. And while Muslims await a separate person - the Imam Mahdi, this hadith explains that 'son of Mary' and the Mahdi are the same person:
“There is no Mahdi but Isa, son of Mary.” (Sunan Ibn Maja, Kitab ul Fitan)
5. Is the son of Mary LITERALLY Jesus? Well no, as many verses of the Quran affirm Jesus has died.
E.g: Who is worshipped most besides God?..
“And those on whom they call beside Allah create not anything, but they are themselves created. They are dead, not alive..."(16:21-22).
6. There are around 30 verses that prove that Jesus (as) has died. This link gives an extensive list:

7. What does ‘son of Mary’ descending mean then?
Well, Jesus (as) himself explained that Elijah’s second coming was not him LITERALLY returning to earth, but someone in his likeness (John the Baptist) being born to fulfill the prophecy.
The same is the case here.
8. So, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) claimed to be that Messiah, who has come in Jesus’ likeness. How do we figure out whether he is true or not?
Easy, just follow the Quran...
9. First, and most strikingly, God's principle is to destroy anyone who falsely claims revelation.
"And if he had forged and attributed any saying to us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, And then surely we would have severed his life-artery." (69: 45-48)
10. Ahmad (as) claimed revelation for 29 years. His message, and the Ahmadiyya Movement is only growing and strengthening.
By the Quran itself therefore, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has been declared true!
11. Secondly, personal character, as testified to even by his enemies:
"As for the author, we can say there have been few Muslims, if any, who have been so constant in their service to Islam, service by purse and pen, by personal character, and by speech and silence."
M.Batalvi
12. Thirdly, Ahmad (as) was actively helped at every turn by God.
In a revelation he was told:
"Do not threaten us with fire, for fire is our servant and indeed, the servant of our servants."
His followers survived the major disaster of the time, the plague, in huge numbers.
13. Next, his prophecies.
There was not a SINGLE PROPHECY he made that was proved false. He even claimed God had told him about a major upcoming global disaster, and described World War One in incredible detail:

14. Then, his books & argumentation
He ‘broke the cross’ in that he wrote sublime works demonstrating arguments for Islam over Christianity and other religions.

15. In his own words.
16. And finally, to counter a few allegations:
No he did not claim (God-forbid) that he was greater than the Prophet Muhammad (sa).
No he did not EVER disrespect any other Prophet of God.
His mission was to PROVE the truth of Islam in this age, not to change it.
17. Think for yourself, don’t let the smears cause you to reject a man sent by God.
Remember that all Prophets are mocked. Mockery is a sign of truth, not falsehood.
Think about it, would God have caused a movement to flourish if a Prophet who said these words was false?
Peace
